Services
We provide a New Backpack, Clothing, Full-Sized Toiletries, and Shoes for each woman who comes through our program.
Project Safe Start has partnered with two private Christian homes. The Christian leadership in these homes provides support, encouragement, and the help they need to get a job and be successful in the community.
We are able to provide these items with the community donating funds, Clothing and of course it is our volunteers that work hard to make all of this work.
Partnerships are vital. Matthew 25 is one of our partners. They are a nonprofit also helping to support women both in and out of prison. Project Safe Start is one of their re-entry programs. They also donate financially to help us and have been with us from the beginning of our journey. We are so thankful for them. To read more about this nonprofit, go to their website:
Matthew 25:
"....for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me...truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.
(Matthew 25:35-36, 40b)
Did you know that the average woman coming out of prison will return three times? We hope to change that!
One of Our Partners
Its only when we come together that sizeable change occurs. We are thankful for our partners. Thank you Matthew 25 Ministry for your partnership and support.
